Holm has advised clients within IPR strategy, patent drafting, prosecution and litigation since he joined Zacco in 2000. Holm has special expertise in EP practice and opposition cases. Prior to joining Zacco, Holm held various positions as an industrial R&D scientist, and a project and product manager within traffic management systems, process control and analysis. His main technical fields of expertise include physics, communication technology, software, optics, nanotechnology and applied mathematics.

Holm holds a Master of Science from the Justus Liebig University in Germany and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Copenhagen. He passed the European Qualifying Examination in 2004 and holds a diploma in “Patent Litigation in Europe” from the Robert Schuman University in France. He speaks Danish, English and German.

Holm is a member of the Association of Danish Patent Agents, the Foreningen Industriel Retsbeskyttelse (FIR) and the international associations FICPI (the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys), AIPPI (the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) and the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (EPI). He has various teaching assignments mainly related to EP practice.
