Tove graduated as an interpreter in French from the Copenhagen Business School in 1987. In 1981, she started working with an Intellectual Property consultancy. She joined Arla Foods in 1987 and became head of Corporate IP in 1992.

In 2006, Tove joined Zacco. Tove’s expertise lies in brand related issues and IP strategy, domain names and other trademark related issues.

She is a regular speaker at conferences dealing with IP topics and brand protection strategies, is a popular writer of articles, and she is frequently quoted in the IP press. Tove was Chairman of MARQUES (the Association of European Trade Mark Owners) from 2001 to 2006. She is still active in several lobbying activities of the association.

Tove was included in MIP’s annual list of the 50 most influential people in IP in the world between 2003 - 2006. Furthermore, she was received the MIP Outstanding Achievement Award in 2006 for her over 10 years work in the leadership of MARQUES. Tove is a member of MARQUES, INTA, ECTA, AIPPI and the Swedish Varumärkesrådet.
